Hey everyone! I'm currently working on migrating an RDS Licensing server from Windows Server 2012 to Windows Server 2022. I've set up the new server and installed the RD License role, but I'm unsure about the next steps. I don't have any documentation from the previous setup, so I'm not sure how to transfer the license key or if there's anything else I need to do. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

You're going to need to buy new CALs for Windows Server 2022. The licensing model has some changes, so the existing licenses from your 2012 setup won’t work for the new server.
So just to clarify, the current licenses are useless? I saw that I have a Windows Server 2022 - 1 User CAL in my admin panel. Can I use that?
