I have a custom-built PC running Windows 11, and I mistakenly removed my device from my parent's Microsoft account, which I had been using for a couple of years. After signing into their account and removing my device, I reset my computer, thinking it would help. Now, everything seems to be reset: I've lost my old wallpaper, all my programs are rearranged, and I have to re-sign into everything. My files aren't showing up in File Explorer, as the Downloads tab is empty. I didn't back anything up on OneDrive and I'm still using the same hard drives. When I turn off my computer and back on, it resets to the state after removing my device. Is there any way to fix this and recover my files?

It's great to hear that you found your old files! For the unresponsive programs, like OBS, you can try reinstalling them to resolve the corrupted or missing files issue. Also, the "we could not sign into your account" error you mentioned at startup might suggest that the new profile isn't fully set up yet—make sure to follow the prompts to complete that.
When you remove a Microsoft account and sign in with a new one, you effectively create a fresh profile. You should check the 'C:Users' folder on your hard drive; your old files should still be there. From there, you can move them to your new profile. Just keep in mind that any settings will need to be configured manually, and some applications might not work right away.
