I have an M.2 SSD and there's a screw that got stripped, making it impossible to remove. The screw isn't the same as the one shown in a common picture online, but it is the same size. What are some effective methods to get this screw out?

No problem! Since it's on a card, a cool trick is to take an unsharpened pencil, put some strong glue on the tip, then press it against the screw. Hold it there until the glue sets, and once it's secure, just turn the pencil to unscrew it. Just be mindful to keep the glue off the M.2 and the card itself — no big globs!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll give that a try. Just need to make sure I don’t mess anything up.

It really depends on how stuck that screw is. Since it's stripped, you might need to use some more aggressive methods. One option is to put a tiny bit of super glue on a small tool, like a flat-head screwdriver, and let it sit for a minute. This gives you better leverage to twist and remove the screw without causing more damage. Just be cautious and don't get glue everywhere!

That sounds risky! Are there any other options that won't involve glue?
