I'm planning to upgrade my GPU from a 580 to a 3060TI and I want to make sure I do it right. What steps should I follow before, during, and after the installation? Any specific tips or precautions I should take? Thanks!

Before you start, make sure your power supply unit (PSU) can handle the new GPU. When you remove the old GPU, unlock the PCIe clip first so you can pull it out safely. For the new one, line it up, snap it in, and secure it. After that, don't forget to install the latest drivers from NVIDIA using the "full install" option.

YouTube tutorials can be super helpful! First, you’ll need to unscrew the PCI cover at the back of your case. Release the PCI latch, remove the old card, and slide in the new one. Don’t forget to install the drivers after that, and I recommend using MSI Afterburner to optimize performance afterwards.

Make sure your case can accommodate the new GPU's size. Newer cards can be pretty big, so measure the space to ensure it fits. After physical installation, software setup might be a bit tricky, so double-check compatibility before proceeding.

That's a good point! Compatibility can be a real issue, and it's often overlooked.
