How do I restore my flash drive back to full capacity?

Hey everyone, I'm new here! I was trying to install Linux on my 32GB SanDisk flash drive using Balena Etcher, following a tutorial I found, but now it only shows up as 5MB and I can't use it for storage anymore. I tried following another guide to reformat it, but that didn't work. I decided to ask for help while I look for more solutions. Here's the link to the tutorial I followed: https://www.instructables.com/How-to-reuse-revert-re-format-a-USB-flash-drive-fr/. Sorry if my question seems silly!

If you've finished installing Linux, you can use gparted (which is similar to Windows Disk Management) to manage your partitions and reclaim the full space. It’s pretty straightforward!

You might need to check your disk management tool if you’re using Windows. Sometimes, there are hidden partitions on the drive that you need to delete before you can use the full capacity again. Just wipe everything and create a single new partition.

I’m following a guide that mentioned the same thing, glad to know it's valid. Thanks!

Check what OS you're currently on. If it’s Linux, try the Disks application to remove the partitions. If you’re using Windows, then download "Fedora Media Writer" and look for an option to 'Restore USB device.' This usually fixes the issue!
