I received a really concerning call this morning from an unknown number. When I answered, it was someone pleading for help and using some distressing language. After confirming it wasn't anyone I knew, I got curious and downloaded an app called TrapCall, thinking it might help with unwanted calls. However, after spending over an hour trying to figure it out, I realized it seemed like a scam. Now I want to cancel the subscription I accidentally signed up for, but every time I try to call the number they provided for deactivation, I get an error message. I'm really stuck here and not sure what to do next!

You can usually cancel subscriptions directly from your phone settings. Just head to your subscriptions in the settings menu and look for TrapCall. If you've already given them your credit card info, you might want to contact your bank and see if they can help you out too!
If all else fails, getting a new card from your bank is a solid backup plan. Just make sure you're aware of all the other subscriptions you might be tied to with that card.
Definitely check your phone settings; it's usually pretty straightforward to unsubscribe there!
