I'm currently using Windows 10 for gaming and video editing, but I need some help figuring out how to update to Windows 11 since my current setup requires Secure Boot. I'm hoping to avoid buying a new computer in the process. Are there tutorials or specific steps I should follow to make this transition easier? Also, I'm not sure what technical details I should provide to get the best assistance.

You'll want to first check your CPU generation and whether your motherboard has a TPM (Trusted Platform Module). A quick way to find this info is by typing "msinfo32" in the Run dialog (press Windows + R to open it). That'll give you some details to share here. If you're not sure how to take a screenshot, just use the Print Screen button and post it for help!

To get started, you may need to activate TPM in your BIOS settings. First, identify your motherboard model with the msinfo32 command. After you have that, restart your PC and press Delete or F2 as it boots to enter the BIOS. From there, look up how to enable TPM for your specific motherboard model. It varies, so a quick Google search should help. Once you have TPM enabled, you can start the Windows 11 update process, and then you’ll need to enable Secure Boot in BIOS afterward too.

Try using the tool "Why Not Win 11" to check what’s stopping your PC from upgrading to Windows 11. It gives a clear indication of any potential issues you might need to fix. If you run into specific errors, share them here for more tailored help!
