I've been trying to figure out how to use the second disk on my new Windows 11 gaming laptop, which has a total of 1 terabyte of storage. I've only been using one disk so far and suddenly realized my storage was nearly full at 450 GB. The second disk is completely empty but still shows up in my files and disk management. I even attempted to combine the disks, but I'm still having issues. Any tips on how to utilize that second storage? Thanks for your help!

You might want to change where your Windows downloads folder is located. It's an easy fix; just do a quick search online to find the steps. It'll help you save space on your main drive!
About that extra storage being used for Valorant, make sure to check your installed games in the Riot Client. Sometimes, they can appear under both 'downloaded apps' and 'others', which can lead to double counting. You might just need to uninstall and reinstall it to fix the path issue.
It's also possible that you may not have two physical drives but just one that's partitioned. Make sure to check in disk management. If your second drive space is unallocated, right-click on it and assign a drive letter. That could be your solution!
When installing programs, remember you can often change the installation destination during the setup process. Just look for an "Install Location" option and select your second drive!
You can set up a secondary storage location in Steam for your games. Just go into Steam settings, and add your second disk as a new library folder and point it there when installing new games. This way, you can keep your storage organized without filling up your C: drive!
Thanks for the tip! I checked and it turns out I do have both drives listed. I’ll try assigning a drive letter next!
