I recently upgraded to the AppleCare+ Family plan but noticed that my iPad Pro and AirPods still show as having their own AppleCare+ coverage and aren't listed under the new Family plan. I'm wondering if I need to cancel the existing AppleCare+ for my iPad and AirPods for them to be covered under the AppleCare+ Family plan. I'm a bit hesitant to cancel because I want to make sure that the Family plan will actually cover them afterwards. Also, I have a screenshot showing the Family option exists in Australia, and it costs around $32 a month, but I can't find much information about it online.

Yes, you will need to add your iPad and AirPods to the AppleCare+ Family plan manually. It doesn't automatically include them, so make sure to manage the devices you want covered. If they aren't showing up, you might need to reach out to Apple Care Services for help. Just keep your current AppleCare+ until you sort it out to avoid losing coverage altogether!
It looks like you need to manually add your devices to the AppleCare+ Family plan. When you do, it should automatically cancel the existing AppleCare+ coverage for those devices. Just a heads-up, all devices have to be connected to the same Apple ID to be covered under the Family plan. If your AirPods are on their own plan, consider not adding them to avoid overlapping coverage.
That's good to know! But what if they don't show up in the 'ready to be added' section? I'm worried I might have to contact support.

Thanks for the advice! I guess it's better to be safe and keep my existing coverage for now.
