I've been hearing a lot about the new Google Gemini 2.5 I/O Edition and its enhancements in tool usage. Has anyone had the chance to put it to the test and see how it performs compared to Claude? I'm currently using Claude Code, but I'm curious about how these new features stack up.

I've tried the Gemini 2.5 with both Goose and OpenHands, and honestly, it performed similarly to Claude when it comes to using tools. If you're familiar with Claude's capabilities, you should find Gemini to be quite comparable!
I recently tested it too, and the performance is decent. But I found the lack of file discovery and the need to specify file paths pretty frustrating.
