I'm building a new PC and need some advice on power supply units. Here are my specs: I'm using an R5 7600X CPU, a RX 9060 XT GPU with 16GB, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. What wattage should I aim for in my PSU?

If you're building for longevity, take into account that a power supply typically lasts around 10 years. What if you want to upgrade to something like an RTX 6080 or beyond? I'd recommend going with a minimum of 750W, just to be safe.

A 750W PSU is a solid choice. It gives you more headroom for future GPU upgrades without worrying. If the price difference is just around $10-15, definitely go for it! The last thing you want is to have to replace your PSU because it's not sufficient for the next-gen hardware.

I recommend a gold-rated 650W power supply, or even higher if possible. It's better to be prepared for potential upgrades down the line. Plus, the price difference between 650W and 850W is often minimal, so don't hesitate to spend a bit more for better reliability.

You should definitely go for at least a 650W PSU. It's about the minimum you need, not just for the specs but also for quality reasons since lower wattages often come with poor builds. If you want a little wiggle room for future upgrades, consider a 750W, especially if it's only a small increase in price.
