I'm feeling a bit lost on how to determine the right amount of storage I need and how to split it across different drives for my use. I'm currently planning to get three drives: a 2TB NVMe for my OS and apps, a 4TB NVMe for games and video editing files, and an 8TB HDD for archival storage. Does this setup make sense, or should I consider organizing it differently, like putting games on the OS drive? I'm curious about how others manage their storage and how much space they've found is necessary after using their PCs for a while.

For my setup, I've got a 1TB NVMe for my work install and a 2TB NVMe for personal use. Honestly, there's no need to use a separate drive for games these days—just stick with one larger drive if you can. I also have a 14TB NAS drive for my archives. That's what works best for me!
