I just completed building my new PC using the ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO BTF ATX AM5 motherboard with a 9950X3D processor and a 5090 graphics card. I've successfully installed Windows and all necessary drivers, but now I need to access the BIOS to enable EXPO and make some other adjustments. Unfortunately, whenever I restart the computer, it goes straight into Windows without giving me a chance to enter BIOS, even when I press and hold the Delete or F2 keys. I've also tried using the Shift key during a Windows restart, but that just results in a black screen; I can press Enter or Space, but it only takes me back to Windows without an option to access "Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > UEFI Firmware Settings." Does anyone have any tips on how to reach the BIOS?

If you're still having trouble, consider disabling Fast Boot in the BIOS settings. This often prevents access to BIOS during restarts. You can also download a utility designed to reboot straight to BIOS if that helps. If you're stuck, searching online with the exact phrases you posted here can provide additional guidance.
Another thing you can do is open PowerShell or Command Prompt and type this command: `shutdown /r /fw /t 0`. That might force your system to boot into the firmware menu. Give it a shot!
You should definitely try holding Shift while clicking on Restart in the Start menu. Keep that Shift key pressed until you see the options. That should usually work to get to the BIOS settings!
You can also access BIOS through Windows settings. Click on the Start button, go to Settings, then Update & Security, then Recovery. Under Advanced startup, hit Restart now. Once you get to the blue screen, choose Troubleshoot, then Advanced options, and finally UEFI Firmware Settings to restart into the BIOS.

Thanks, I tried that! But when I hit 'Restart now', it just goes to a black screen and I end up having to do a hard reboot to get back into Windows.
