I'm looking to buy a parked domain that has the same name but with a different TLD (.com). The issue is that I can't find any owner information on the site, and the Whois data is protected. I checked with the registrar, domain.com, and they told me the domain is parked at ipage.com, where I'm advised to reach out. However, when I contacted ipage, they said they can't provide any information because I'm not the owner and they don't have access to the owner's details. This situation seems strange since domain.com claims they know who the owner is, and both companies are linked through Network Solutions. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? What should I do next?

Usually, if someone wants to sell their domain, they make their contact info easy to find. Since that's not the case here, it might mean the owner isn't interested in hearing from you.
If the owner is interested in selling, there should be some contact info on the parking page. You should know that you're not entitled to the owner's contact information if they haven't made it available. So, it's possible that they simply don't want to be contacted.
Totally agree! I get inquiries for my domains too but usually just set up a rule to auto-delete them.
