Hey everyone! I've been cleaning up my laptop since Windows Defender found some potential Trojan malware. I ran scans with both Malwarebytes and Bitdefender, and cleaned up some files with CCleaner. I found a few suspicious files named Integratorsys.exe, Crisp.exe, and ServerSon.exe in folders called mgmt_dispatcher_stable and NODEFramework_arm in C:/ProgramData. I thought everything was fine, but I recently discovered strange installers like Bobcat, Convertor, and Germicide in my applications that I can't uninstall. They seem like malware since I can't remove them—I always get an error saying the feature is on an unavailable network resource, and it asks for a .msi installation package that I think got deleted. I've deleted what I can from the joe sandbox report, but I suspect there might be more malware lurking around. My laptop isn't showing any issues—it's not slow or displaying popups—but I want to be sure it's completely clean. Should I just rely on antivirus to remove everything, or is a factory reset the better option? I've never done a reset and I'm not quite sure how to go about it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, if you're serious about getting rid of malware, a fresh start is often the quickest way. Just make sure to backup your data first, and wipe the drive completely before installing a fresh copy of Windows. It’s usually easier than trying to root everything out by hand!
You definitely want to run a thorough malware scan using Malwarebytes again. It's a solid tool, but sometimes it doesn’t catch everything. You might also want to manually check for any strange startup items you might have missed. If it's still finding stuff, it might be worth looking into a full OS reinstall. Just back up your important data first!
Yeah, definitely do a double-check on those startup items in your task manager. Some malware can be sneaky and hide there.

That sounds like a solid plan! Is there a good guide out there for how to format my laptop and reinstall Windows? I’m flying blind here.
