How to Connect 8-Pin PCI-E Power with Obstructing Strimmer Cables?

Hey everyone! I'm working on my build with a ROG Hero motherboard and using these Strimmer cables. The issue is that the Strimmer cables are blocking one of the 8-pin slots, preventing me from making the necessary connection. This blockage is causing a red LED to stay lit on my motherboard, which is super annoying. I can't post images directly, but I've tried uploading them elsewhere. Has anyone experienced this problem before? Any suggestions on how to get that pin connected, especially since my PSU cables don't fit? Thanks!

It sounds like you're having a tough time! You can share photos here by hosting them on sites like Imgur and then pasting the link in your post. That would really help us understand the situation better. Just a suggestion!

I thought 'strimmer' was a lawn tool too! But it's probably a typo, right? You meant the Strimer cable from Lian Li with RGB? That setup is pretty cool but can get tricky sometimes. If the cables are blocking the 8-pin connection, maybe try re-routing them or checking if they're flexible enough to shift a bit without damage.

Yeah, those Strimer cables are awesome but can be tight. You might need to adjust them to make room.

Just a heads up! There should be an 8-pin connector right above that red LED, but if the Strimmer cable is in the way, try to gently maneuver or re-position the cable. It might help you make that connection without any hassle!
