I have a dual monitor setup with one monitor using HDMI and the other using DisplayPort. Now, I want to connect my drawing tablet, but it only supports HDMI. Currently, I'm unplugging my main monitor to connect the drawing tablet, which isn't practical. Is there any solution that allows me to keep both devices connected? I considered switching my main monitor to a DisplayPort, but that causes the resolution to drop to 1920x1080 from 2440x1440. Any recommendations?

I ran into a similar issue where my graphics card only had HDMI ports. I ended up getting a converter similar to what others suggested, and it worked out really well for my dual setup. Just a bit of a hassle with spacing, but overall, it’s been a good solution.
Just head over to Amazon and search for DisplayPort to HDMI adapters. You'll find plenty of options, and they’re usually pretty affordable!
What drawing tablet are you planning to use? I've heard some work great with dual setups!
I recommend getting a good HDMI/DisplayPort adapter for your setup. You can use both your monitor and drawing tablet without any hassles and still get a solid 2K output!
You could use a DisplayPort to HDMI cable. Just make sure it's unidirectional, meaning it goes from DP to HDMI. Also, be aware that some cables might limit the resolution, so check if it's rated for 1080p or even 4K. That might be causing the resolution issue with your monitor.

That's true! Just keep in mind that this will only work if your DisplayPort supports DP++, which allows HDMI output. Some older ports might not support that.
