How to Enable TPM 2.0 for Upgrading to Windows 11?

I built my computer about six years ago, and I'm looking to upgrade to Windows 11. However, it seems that I need to have TPM 2.0 enabled. I followed the BIOS setup instructions from Microsoft's website, but it says I don't have a security device. Here's my PC information:

- Device Name: DESKTOP-MFJTO76
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor 3.59 GHz
- Installed RAM: 16.0 GB
- Storage: 466 GB SSD (Samsung SSD 970 EVO 500GB)
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 (6 GB)

Can anyone give me some tips? Do I need to replace any parts, or am I stuck with Windows 10?

You just need to enable the TPM in your BIOS settings. Look for something like "fTPM" which stands for Firmware TPM. Since your CPU has TPM baked into its firmware, you should be good to go once it's enabled.

Make sure to update the BIOS for your motherboard. There have been a lot of changes with TPM 2.0 recently, and your CPU is good enough for Windows 11. Usually, in newer BIOS versions, fTPM is enabled by default. If it's not showing up for yours, just enable it manually in the BIOS.

So if I update the BIOS, the option to enable TPM should appear? I'm thinking of heading into the BIOS now to check it out.
