How to Fix a Black Screen with Loading Cursor on Windows 11?

I've been dealing with this annoying update icon at the bottom right of my screen for a while. It was red instead of the usual yellow, which seemed odd. After some attempts to sort it out in the past, I ended up with a black screen, but I managed to recover from that. However, this time, nothing seems to work. No matter how many times I restart my PC or try to access Task Manager, I'm stuck with this black screen and loading cursor. Has anyone experienced this issue and know how to fix it?

Sometimes, it might just take longer than expected for the login screen to show up. I've been in a similar situation before and ended up turning off my PC manually, thinking it was frozen. If you can, try to wait a little longer; it could eventually bring you to the login screen.

It's a good idea to give it some time before you decide to shut it down. I’d suggest waiting maybe an hour or so. If that doesn't work, you might want to consider reinstalling Windows 11. Just make sure you've checked for any available backup options, as you might lose some data.
