I'm trying to replace my AMD 6800XT with an RTX 5080 for work purposes. I've updated my BIOS to the latest version, used DDU to uninstall my AMD drivers while in safe mode, and installed a new 1000W PSU along with the new GPU. However, when I boot up, I can only access the BIOS. Since my CPU (R5 3600) doesn't have integrated graphics, this confirms the GPU is functioning. The issue is that the system keeps booting into BIOS and doesn't recognize my NVMe drive, leaving me with no options in the boot menu. I'm not connected to the internet because I wanted to install the NVIDIA drivers that I downloaded beforehand. What could I be doing wrong? Additionally, I'm running Windows 11, and I tried booting with a boot stick using diskpart, but the NVMe still isn't showing up. I did find that removing and reseating the NVMe drive helped.

It sounds like you've done a lot already. Since you're using a B450 Aorus Pro, verify that your BIOS has the latest update; sometimes, compatibility issues can arise with new GPUs. Also, check that the NVMe drive is securely connected. A reseating can solve many issues. If the drive isn’t recognized in the BIOS, it might indicate a problem with the connection or compatibility.
You might want to check your UEFI settings. Sometimes the boot options can mess things up after a hardware change. Make sure that CSM support is set correctly—if it’s enabled, try disabling it and see if it helps. Also, make sure your storage boot option control is set to UEFI only if you're using an NVMe drive. By the way, what's your motherboard model?
