How to Fix LockedDown Browser Session Termination Due to Virtual Machine Detection?

I'm having trouble with the LockedDown Browser required for my online college exams. Despite never intentionally installing a virtual machine, the browser keeps terminating my session due to a VM being detected. I have a refurbished gaming PC that I've had for about a year, used primarily for gaming with Steam and EA. I started my Summer B courses this week and during my first exam last night, it kicked me out twice for this issue. I've already reached out to my professor for help, but I really need to resolve this quickly. I checked Device Manager for anything related to virtual machines but found nothing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried disabling virtualization in your BIOS settings? It sounds odd, but that might do the trick since it's detecting something related to a VM. If you’re not sure how to access the BIOS, I can help explain that! Just let me know.

I'm pretty computer illiterate, so I’d appreciate any detailed steps you can provide for accessing the BIOS. I really need to sort this out since I can't drop my courses now.
