I recently discovered that my 240Hz monitor can only be set to 60Hz in the Windows settings, even though I was previously able to make the switch to 240Hz. I'm not sure what caused this change or how to get it back. Does anyone have suggestions on what I can do to resolve this?

You might want to check the settings in your graphics card's software. If you have an NVIDIA card, look for the refresh rate settings in the NVIDIA Control Panel. If you’re using AMD, the equivalent settings will be in the AMD software. It's usually in the display section, and you should be able to select 240Hz from there.
Just a heads up—make sure your display cable can support 240Hz. Sometimes using an HDMI cable instead of DisplayPort can limit your options. Check which cable you’re using, as that might be the culprit!
