I recently got a prebuilt rig with a Gigabyte B550M DS3H R2 motherboard and an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU. I've been hearing a strange noise, initially thinking it was a fan issue, but it turns out the Front USB 3.2 cable was rubbing against the GPU's rightmost fan. After fixing that, I noticed the header of the same cable is now pressing against the center fan of the GPU, preventing it from spinning. I'm wondering how I can resolve this issue. I can't cable tie it to the PSU shroud because the holes aren't close enough, and it's just too tricky to access. Do I have to accept that one of my GPU fans won't work?

Yeah, I totally get your frustration. Those prebuilt rigs can have some design flaws. If the extension doesn't work, you could try repositioning the cable as much as possible to create more space. Even some extra Velcro might help keep it out of the way. Just gotta keep an eye on it to ensure it doesn't contact any fans again!
You might want to consider using an extension for that USB cable. Something like a low-profile connector could help. It should fit into the motherboard port without bumping into the fan anymore. Just plug the case's USB cable into the new extension, and that might solve your problem. It's a clever fix for a design oversight in prebuilt systems!

Thanks for the tips! I think I’ll go for the extension first and see if that does the trick. Good idea about the Velcro!
