Hey everyone! I've got a good grasp on the basics of Linux, like using the terminal, managing packages, and navigating the filesystem. I'm aiming to level up my skills and become a Linux sysadmin. I'm looking for the best practical advice on learning paths—any recommendations for hands-on courses, labs, or ideas for setting up a home server or VMs to practice? I'm also curious about certifications like LFCS or RHCSA that might be beneficial for beginners. Any tips would be super helpful! 🙏

If you want a structured approach, Sander Van Vugt offers a great course on O'Reilly for the RHCSA certification. You might even finish it within a 10-day free trial if you dedicate some time. Just a heads up, if you're new to IT, it might be hard to land a Linux Admin job right away. Consider starting at a Help Desk or similar role to build up your experience and then transition into a sysadmin position.
