I just received a new computer for my birthday, and it came with Windows 11. I'm ready to switch to Linux Mint because I'm really not a fan of Windows 11. I have been thinking about this for a while, but I'm looking for advice on how to install it without messing up my new PC since I just got it set up.

I get wanting to ditch Windows 11, but have you thought about other distros like Kubuntu? It might have features you'd enjoy. There are some good discussions online about that.
Before you start, don’t forget to back up any important files you have on your Windows installation.
The easiest way to install it is to flash it to a USB stick. If you plan to dual-boot, just make sure you create a separate partition first!
This is definitely a safe move! And remember, even if Linux doesn't work out, you can always switch back to Windows. Just log into Windows once to make sure it's activated. Installing Linux Mint is straightforward—there's a great tutorial on YouTube that can guide you through it!
Mint is a great choice for beginners because it's super user-friendly! Just curious, what video card does your PC have? And what games do you usually play on Steam?

I love that tutorial! I found it super helpful when I was installing Mint myself.
