How to Move Files from Windows to Linux Mint Without a Second USB?

I'm planning to install Linux Mint with Xfce on my computer, but I lost my second USB stick. While I can boot from one USB, I don't have one for backing up files. I'm trying to figure out a convenient way to transfer files that would be a bit of a hassle to replace later (though I can get them back from the cloud). Is there a way to shift these files over to Mint after installation, or should I just download them again or email myself a zip file?

If you're dual booting, once you install Linux, you can still access your Windows NTFS partitions. This allows you to move files from Windows to your Linux Mint installation directly. Just make sure to update your BIOS and you should be good to go!

That's super helpful, thanks! Is there a specific method to access the NTFS partition or will it just show up in the file explorer?
