How to Organize My Network Cabinet Like a Pro?

I'm in the process of setting up a network cabinet that currently holds a 24-port switch and various accessories, including an LTE router. Right now, everything is just piled together, which is a bit of a mess. Since everything will likely need to be unplugged for this setup, I'm looking for some advice to make the organization process smooth, neat, and efficient. Here are a few specifics:
- I have a 24-port switch with all ports in use.
- I'm going to include a rack-mount UniFi network switch.
- I also have a consumer-grade LTE router and other devices to consider.

I have a few questions:
- What tips do you have to make this process painless? Is labeling everything a must?
- How can I fit non-rack mount devices into the cabinet effectively?
- Is there anything else I should be aware of during this setup?

I'll definitely share before and after photos once I wrap up the project. Thanks for your help!

First off, definitely label every cable on both ends, indicating the host and port. For cable management, go for Velcro ties instead of zip ties, as they’re much easier to adjust later. If you have non-rack mount devices, consider getting rack-mount shelves to fit them securely in the cabinet. And don’t forget those cage nut tools—they can save you a lot of hassle!

Or you could just throw everything in there—who needs organization anyway?
