How to Permanently Assign Drive Letters for Multiple USB HDDs in Windows 11?

I've got six USB-connected SATA HDDs hooked up to my laptop, and I'm trying to assign a permanent drive letter to each one. I'm using USBDLM for this, but I'm struggling to find the unique "Device instance path" for each HDD. When I check in Disk Management, I can't distinguish between them because they all show up with the same name, "ASMT 2115 SCSI Disk Device," and they all appear with the same "Bus Number 0, Target id 0, LUN 0." Does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this?

Have you thought about consolidating your storage? USB external hard drives are available in larger sizes than 500MB these days, so it might make your setup less cluttered. Just a thought!

You might want to use the serial number of each HDD as a unique identifier. Another option is to connect one drive at a time to your laptop. That way, you can figure out which drive corresponds to which device path without them all showing the same name.
