I recently upgraded my CPU and motherboard but don't want to reinstall Windows just yet, as I'm waiting for a larger M.2 SSD for my C Drive. I'm looking for the safest way to remove the drivers from my old hardware without causing any issues. My old setup was an i7 10700F with a Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite, and I've upgraded to an i7 14700K with an Asus Prime Z690-P D4. The rest of my hardware is staying the same!

You could go the manual route and uninstall the old drivers yourself. But honestly, most people just fire up their PC, connect to the internet, and let Windows figure it out. It's worked well for them, so it might not be as risky as it seems!

Haha, that's pretty much what I've done too! So far, everything seems fine, but I was unsure if that approach would mess things up.
