I recently bought a 9070 XT but I've decided to return it and get a 5080 instead. Unfortunately, I accidentally threw away the original packaging, and now I'm a bit lost on how to package it securely for the return. I understand that I might take a bit of a hit on the return value since I don't have the box, but my main concern is making sure the GPU is safe during shipping. Any tips or advice? Thanks!

You might want to consider selling it on Facebook Marketplace instead. People might be willing to pay more than what you spent! Just be mindful of the shipping aspect if you're going that route.
One option is to use thick foam sheets to custom-fit the GPU. Trace its shape onto a foam sheet, cut it out, and place the GPU in the cutout. Then, put a top layer of foam over it and secure everything with tape. This helps keep it snug and protected during shipping!
Check the return policy where you bought it from. Some stores require the original packaging for returns. If they accept it without, just make sure to use an electrostatic bag, and wrap it in bubble wrap. Find a sturdy box to ship it in, ensuring the GPU is snug but not crammed inside it.
I contacted the store, and they said it's fine without the original box, but the return value might get cut by 20%. Lesson learned!
Haha, I've found it kinda slow for computer parts in my area too!
