How to Showcase Client-Sensitive Projects in My Portfolio?

I'm finally working on creating a proper portfolio and want to showcase only my best projects. However, I have some work that is private to the clients, like databases and CRMs that only they should have access to. I can provide screenshots or short GIFs highlighting the projects, but I worry that someone could easily take those and claim the work as their own. What are some effective ways to present this kind of work while protecting my clients' confidentiality? Thanks in advance!

You’re right that anyone could take screenshots, but remember, you’re the only one who can explain the details! Definitely include your screenshots or GIFs, along with a good description of the project and the technologies you used. That way, you provide context that shows your expertise. It's the best approach you can take!

Thank you. This is really helpful!

Just make sure you don’t violate any NDAs. A good idea for your portfolio is to create a demo app that uses dummy data and business logic. It allows you to showcase your skills without exposing client private information, while still looking impressive!

I was also considering doing some kind of demo app similar to what you just said. Thank you for responding!
