I'm a DevOps Engineer dedicated to building, improving, and maintaining AWS infrastructures. My main tools include AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and a little bit of Ansible, along with Linux. As I consider applying to Big Tech companies, I've noticed they often require experience with a variety of DevOps tools. Given the wide range of tools out there, how do you all keep yourselves updated? It's a bit overwhelming.

One effective way to keep your skills sharp is to propose using new tools at your current job. That way, you can learn and maintain them while getting paid for it! Plus, hands-on experience is invaluable.
I actually created a Slack group where we share updates and resources on various tools. But to be honest, I think Big Tech isn't as cutting-edge as it seems; they often run on older systems. You'll also find that many large tech companies have a lot of custom-built tools that aren't widely used elsewhere.

That sounds like a great resource! Mind sharing the link to join?
