Hey everyone! I'm a tester with about three years of experience, and I'm thinking about making a switch to a DevOps position. I've got some basics down, like Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines, but I'm still feeling a bit unsure about my skills. I've seen plenty of articles and posts on LinkedIn claiming that DevOps roles are in high demand right now. Is that really the case? If so, I'd love some guidance on how to make this transition. Specifically, I'm looking for: 1. Where to start learning the key DevOps tools and concepts. 2. A step-by-step roadmap for moving from testing to DevOps. 3. Recommended study materials, courses, or projects to help me learn and practice. Any advice from folks who have transitioned or are currently in DevOps would be super appreciated! Thanks in advance! 🙏

If you're just jumping on the DevOps bandwagon because it’s trendy, it might not be the right fit. However, a crucial skill in DevOps is being able to research and learn new tools on your own. A good starting point would be to check out a DevOps roadmap online—it can really help guide your learning journey!
I totally get that! I’ve been confused too with so much information available. I’ve started looking into CI/CD pipelines and got familiar with Jenkins and Docker. A roadmap or some mentorship would really help me out!
