Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to server management and have some questions about updating my HP ProLiant ML350P Gen8 server. I've learned that I need an SPP ISO to get all the necessary updates in one go instead of downloading them one by one. The issue is, when I bought this server from a now-closed store, they removed all stickers, so I have no model or serial number. Even checking the BIOS didn't reveal much; it just appears blank. I've also noticed that drives 1-4 aren't powered, but that's a concern for another day. By the way, the server seems like it hasn't been updated since at least 2013, and I managed to update the BIOS myself. Any guidance would really help!

You can download the ProLiant Gen SPP ISO directly from support.hpe.com without needing to log in. That should help you get everything updated without worrying about the individual downloads!
Here's a handy shortcut for direct iLO download links: pingtool.org/latest-hp-ilo-firmwares/. Also, you can usually grab the standalone BIOS from HPE without needing any login. Just so you know, there's a bug in iLO4 that might cause problems, so it's worth updating that soon!
I'll definitely take a look, thanks for the advice!
Could you share a specific link? I keep hitting a wall with access restrictions!
