Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a crisis. Just a couple of hours ago, my phone started blowing up with alerts that my Gmail password was changed, my recovery email and phone number were removed, and a new passkey was added. Now I'm completely logged out of everything and feeling really helpless. I've tried reaching out to Google support, but they haven't been helpful at all. I'm looking for any advice on what to do next to regain access. Thanks in advance for your help!

Unfortunately, it sounds like you've been hacked. First, you should seriously try to change your password immediately—if you can get back in, that is. If not, calling Google Support might be your next best move. They might have some methods to help you regain access, but it can be tricky.
Just a heads-up, if you disconnect any accounts associated with the hacked Gmail, it might help in securing your other info. But you’ll want to act fast before anything else goes awry!
Thanks for the tip! If I remove all those linked accounts, will it definitely keep my other info safe?
The odds of getting your account back at this point seem low. I'd recommend switching emails and changing your passwords everywhere else, too. Plus, setting up two-factor authentication (2FA) on your other accounts can help protect you in the future.
I can't change my password since I'm locked out. I've just been trying to get through to Google Support, but they keep directing me to the community FAQ.
