I just got the iPhone 16 Pro Max yesterday and everything was working fine initially. I set it up and did the transfer, but after letting it sit for a few hours, I'm having trouble unlocking it. When I try to enter my passcode, the screen doesn't respond well enough for me to type it in. Face ID isn't working either. Occasionally, I can tap one number, but after that, it won't recognize any more input. I've tried different passcode variations and even did multiple hard resets, but nothing seems to work. There's also a weird white box around the clock area that wasn't there before. There's no screen protector on it yet, so I don't think that's the issue. Any ideas on what might be going on?

It sounds like you might have accidentally activated an accessibility feature that's causing the screen to behave this way. Sometimes, spamming buttons can enable settings that interfere with normal use. You could try letting it sit for a bit or see if there's a way to reset the settings, but it’s tricky if you can’t get past the lock screen.
I’ve heard of this issue before! Some users mentioned needing to reset the device, but they couldn’t do it unless they got past the lock screen. If you can't use Face ID or enter your passcode, unfortunately, your options might be limited until Apple support can step in.
Yeah, I think resetting is my only option, but it's frustrating not being able to access the phone first.
Is there a way to undo that accessibility feature without being able to access the phone?
