Is $1000 a Great Deal for This Used PC?

I'm considering buying a second-hand PC from a marketplace and it's priced at AUD 1500, which is roughly $1000. Here are the specs:

- 32GB DDR5 6000MT/s
- RTX 4080 Super PNY
- Ryzen 9 7900 CPU
- Watercooled
- 2TB of storage (two 1TB NVMe drives)

The seller also offers a choice between a 4K 27-inch 240Hz monitor or a 1440P 32-inch 240Hz monitor, along with a keyboard and mouse for extra. I'd appreciate any advice on what questions to ask the seller to ensure it's a legitimate deal. Thanks in advance! 🙂

Honestly, it sounds too good to be true. But if everything checks out, then yeah, it could be a steal. Just make sure to verify everything in person before handing over any money.

For sure, the GPU alone can go for around $900-1000. It’s an amazing deal if it’s legit, but keep an eye out for potential scams!

Too good of a deal usually raises red flags. Maybe check the seller’s history and see if they have a good rating. If they do, it’s worth pursuing!

I'd be cautious. It sounds sketchy, especially since it's from a marketplace. Ask to see it in person, and don’t just rely on video calls or videos sent by the seller. Better safe than sorry!

Definitely seems like a bargain, but be careful! There’s a good chance it could be stolen or something if it’s priced that low. Just make sure everything’s on the up and up before buying.
