I'm trying to figure out if 16GB of 3600 MT/s RAM is sufficient for a system paired with a 10GB VRAM video card. Do I need to consider upgrading my RAM as well?

Most modern games don't exceed 12GB of RAM usage, though a few newer releases might. It could be useful to benchmark the games you play. Just a heads-up, prices for RAM are pretty high right now, but I did see a deal for 32GB at $300 recently!
Honestly, 16GB should handle most of what you throw at it, especially if you're not pushing your system to the max with heavy multitasking or high-end gaming. It’s perfectly good for now.
It really depends on what kind of gaming and applications you're running. For 4K simulation or intensive gaming, 16GB may be a bit tight. But if you're mainly playing esports titles at 1080p, you should be just fine.
Generally speaking, 16GB is pretty much the minimum these days, while 32GB is more recommended for gaming and heavy tasks. If you're consistently reaching the 16GB limit during gaming or multitasking, you might want to think about an upgrade.
The amount of RAM and VRAM don't directly impact each other. If your 16GB of RAM is adequate for your current usage, it should still be enough even with a graphics card that has more VRAM.
