Hey everyone, I'm 25 and have been trying to make it as a music producer, but I'm thinking it might be time to pivot. Coding has always intrigued me, and I enjoy tackling problems creatively—something I think overlaps with music production. I'm wondering if I'm too old to start learning code with the hopes of eventually making a living from it, like creating websites, apps, or even video games. The idea of scoring my own games sounds awesome too! Am I really too late to start?

It's never too late to start coding. I began at 29 and am now a data engineer with two years' experience. Passion and consistency can lead to success, so if you're willing to put in the effort, go for it!
Honestly, I never understood why people say it's too late. You grow old regardless, so you might as well spend your time doing something worthwhile. I got into coding at 33 and had a great 25-year tech career. You can definitely make this work!
Not at all! You're not competing in a physical sport where age is a factor. A friend of mine started a computer science degree at 24 and is doing just fine. Getting a degree and applying for jobs is a solid way to go.
