I'm currently using a 6650 XT, which is working fine for my needs, but it's starting to feel outdated. The 8GB of VRAM is becoming a limitation, especially with modded games like Skyrim. I recently found the 5060 Ti with 16GB of VRAM for $369.99 at Walmart, which is cheaper than the 9060 XT with 16GB. That said, I'm wondering if it's worth it to upgrade now or if I should hold off for a year and see how prices and technology develop. Would the RAM issue mean waiting might not yield a better deal?

At $369.99, the 5060 Ti is definitely worth it. Nobody can say whether it’ll be the absolute best deal later on, but it’s good enough that you shouldn't hesitate to buy!
You're looking at a solid 5-year lifespan with that card, which is a great value!
While predicting the future can be tricky, 2026 is looking rough for all computer components that depend on DRAM. It might be wise to grab that 5060 Ti now instead of waiting!
Honestly, it's a 'buy now, think later' kind of situation at this price. The 5060 Ti is a much better deal compared to the 9060 XT, and you can always return it by the end of January if you change your mind. Worst case, you'll likely be able to sell it later for the same price!
That 5060 Ti at $369.99 is a steal! I’d say buy it now and either keep your 6650 XT as a backup or sell it. Prices for GPUs are expected to rise soon, especially with demand from AI data centers. It's unlikely that prices will drop anytime soon, so this might be your best chance.

I’m hesitant about selling my old graphics card. I’ve read a lot about scams on online marketplaces, and I don’t want to deal with that hassle.
