Is $630 a Good Deal for the 9070 XT?

I've been on the hunt for a GPU around $350 to keep me going while I wait for the prices on the higher-end models, like the 9070 XT or a used 4070 Ti Super, to come down. I just found a 9070 XT locally for $630. Should I grab it now, or do you think holding out for a few months could drop the price to around $600? I'm also open to buying a used 6800 XT, which was my previous consideration, to tide me over as I upgrade from my 1660 Super.

If you're seeing a 9070 XT for $630, that's a solid deal! The MSRP is actually $599, so you're a bit above that, but considering the current market, it's pretty good. I paid $700 for mine. Just be aware, if it’s marked as open box, make sure there’s a good return policy just in case!

I understand it's great now, but do you think by January 2026, it might dip down to around $600?

Definitely check condition! Open box can be a steal if everything is in good shape.

Honestly, if you're set on the 9070 XT, it sounds like a good option at that price, especially if you’re pairing it with a 9600X for 1440p gaming. Just keep an eye out for local prices. If you’re patient, you might find a better deal soon, but it's hard to say for sure.
