I've got a Ryzen 5 5600 using the stock cooler, and I'm seeing it hit 68 degrees Celsius when it's just sitting idle. Is this temperature normal? I have my case fans set to operate at 50% capacity.

That’s pretty high for idle. If it stays stable under load, that's a good sign, but 68 degrees at rest might suggest some airflow issues or that the cooler isn’t cutting it.

I just ran a benchmark test and the CPU hit 95 degrees for a while. That’s concerning!

68 degrees is definitely warm for an idle state. However, if your temps are stable during heavy use or gaming, it might not be too big of a deal. Just keep an eye on it!

I just played Rocket League at 1920x1080 on max settings and it jumped between 70 to 85 degrees. Seems like it's handling it okay under load.
