Is 81°C too hot for my graphics card during stress testing?

I've got an RTX 5070, and I've been noticing that it gets pretty warm—around 69°C to 72°C on hot days. Today, when I got home, my PC felt unusually hot, even when I wasn't actively using the graphics card. I decided to run a benchmark test, and for the first time, the temperature hit 81°C. This freaked me out a bit since I typically see the clock speed between 2500MHz and 2900MHz. Should I be worried about these temps?

You might want to increase your fan speed to around 90%. Going higher doesn’t really help much, but that should keep things cooler during intense usage.

Honestly, there's nothing to worry about. 81°C is totally normal for stress testing GPUs. Your RTX 5070 is handling it like a champ, so no need to sweat it!

Most graphics cards are designed to handle temperatures around 100°C. While you don’t want to keep it that hot all the time, 81°C is well within the safe zone, especially during tests. It’ll throttle itself if it gets too hot, so you’re good!

Yeah, I agree! Just keep an eye on it and ensure your fans are working properly.

Exactly! Just monitor your temps, but you should be fine.
