Is 850W Power Supply Sufficient for My PC Build?

I'm planning to buy a new PC tailored for my needs, which include video editing, 3D work, music production, and some occasional gaming. Since most of the usage will put the PC under heavy load, I'm curious if 850W is enough for my build. I'm considering the MSI MPG A850G PCIE5 850W power supply.

I have four RGB case fans, an AIO cooler with an LCD display, and I'll also connect a mouse, keyboard, audio interface, and possibly audio monitors in the future. I plan to install two more M.2 SSDs down the line, making it three in total, and might upgrade to 128GB of RAM as well. Here's my full build list:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 9 9900X 4.4 GHz 12-Core Processor
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Frozen Warframe PRO ARGB 70.84 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
- **Motherboard**: MSI MAG X870E TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard
- **Memory**: Patriot Viper Venom 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory
- **Storage**: Lexar NM790 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
- **Video Card**: Asus PRIME OC GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16 GB Video Card
- **Case**: NZXT H5 Flow RGB (2024) ATX Mid Tower Case
- **Power Supply**: MSI MPG A850G PCIE5 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

Do you think 850W will be enough?

Yes, 850W is sufficient for your build! It should handle everything you’ve listed without breaking a sweat. If you're worried about future expansions, going for an 850W PSU like the MSI is a solid choice. Just make sure your overall power usage stays within limits, especially when you add those extra SSDs and RAM.

I think 850W is enough, but if you want a different option, consider the Montech CENURY II 850W. However, if the MSI is cheaper in your area, that’s definitely a good pick too! It should cover all your current and future needs just fine.
