Hey folks! I'm considering using a 240mm water cooler like the DeepCool Mystique for my Ryzen 7 9800X3D. Do you think this cooler will be enough? I plan to use it mostly for casual gaming, and I won't be overclocking. Has anyone tried this setup?

I've used a custom loop with a 240mm rad for my CPU and GPU. Even with gaming, my CPU stayed around 70°C, but my fans had to work hard! Just keep in mind that during synthetic benchmarking, it might hit TDP limits if cooling isn't sufficient.

I'm pretty confident it'll be okay! The AMD 7000 and 9000 series CPUs don’t use that much power compared to Intel. I have a Thermalright Peerless Assassin and my 7800X3D stays under 70°C, so most AIO coolers should do well too.

I actually run my 9800X3D with a 120mm cooler, and my temps are great—I've never gone above 75°C, even when gaming. Just make sure your fan curve is a bit aggressive!

I've been using a Ryzen 9 9800X3D with a Cooler Master ML240L V2 that's about five years old, and my temps never go over 70°C. So, I think a 240mm cooler will work just fine for you!

Definitely check the TDP rating of your AIO cooler first; it should be listed in the specs. That'll give you an idea if it can handle the heat under load.
