I'm looking into a PC build being sold for $450 that includes an i5 9600K CPU and a 3060 Ti graphics card. I know the i5 9600K is a bit outdated and lacks hyper threading, but I'm curious if this price is reasonable for a complete setup. What do you all think?

Honestly, I'd suggest looking for something on the AM4 platform instead. It has better upgrade options for the future. Once you hit the limit of the 9600K, there's not much room for growth.
It could be worth it, but you'll want to make sure the other components are solid too. Look at the power supply, motherboard, and RAM. They play a huge role in your system's overall performance! If those parts are good, then that price sounds decent.
I totally get you—it's affordable! Just remember that while the price is good, it’s about what you want out of the build. If it meets your needs and future goals, it might be worth jumping on!
How comfortable are you with tech? If you're good at installing components and looking to upgrade over time, this might be a good base. Just make sure you're okay with that CPU limiting you in the long run.
