I'm considering whether the 5070 graphics card would pair well with my i7-8700k. Currently, I'm using a 1080 card, but it's struggling with some games I play at 1080p. I've heard mixed opinions, particularly that the CPU might bottleneck the GPU. Should I upgrade my whole setup now, or would the 5070 suffice for the time being?

If you're open to it, going for a newer generation CPU with a more powerful GPU like the 3070 or 4070 might yield better results. You’d benefit from upgrading both eventually rather than just one at a time.
Honestly, that CPU will bottleneck a 5070 quite a bit, especially at 1080p. You might want to look into upgrading both your GPU and CPU together for a smoother experience.

Would those work well with my current CPU for now, or should I consider a full upgrade right away?
