Hey everyone! I'm building my first PC after my laptop with a 2060 recently died. For now, my build includes a Ryzen 7 8700G, a Gigabyte B650M plus WiFi motherboard, 16GB of DDR5 CL30 RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. I have an MSI MAG 650BN 650W 80+ Bronze power supply, which I believe is rated as C tier according to the lists. I'm planning to get a 5070 Ti graphics card soon, but I'm concerned about whether my PSU can handle it effectively, especially with my workloads that mostly involve architectural tasks. If I need to upgrade my PSU, what are some good options that won't break the bank?

Honestly, I’d consider switching out the 8700G for a better CPU like the R5 7600X or R7 7700X if you're looking for better performance later on. Also, go for a 2x16GB RAM setup for improved speed—16GB single stick can get limiting with larger projects. But for your PSU, 650W is fine for now!
Your PSU should be alright! The power consumption of your setup shouldn't exceed 600W even at peak utilization, so you should be good to go with that.
It really depends on the 5070 Ti's power draw, but 650W might be on the edge. Just keep an eye on your power consumption when everything's up and running!

Thanks for the CPU advice! I’m definitely planning to grab another 16GB of RAM down the line. Quick question, though: is it essential to follow Nvidia's recommended wattage of 750W for the GPU? Since you're suggesting that 650W is okay, I'm curious about that!
