Is a Ryzen 5 7600 and 32GB RAM Enough for a 5070 TI?

I'm considering a new PC and planning to sell my current setup. I found a custom build for 2600 CAD that comes with a 5070 TI, which seems to be the cheapest new option. However, the CPU is a Ryzen 5 7600, and the RAM is only 32GB at 5200MHz.

I game on a 1440p monitor and I've seen a mix of benchmarks regarding CPU bottlenecks at this resolution. Most of the games I play are GPU-heavy, but I'm a bit worried about future-proofing, especially with titles like GTA VI on the horizon. Should I be concerned about CPU bottlenecks later on? Also, how significant is the difference between 5200MHz and 6000MHz RAM with this CPU/GPU combo? Will it lead to noticeable stutters or decreased FPS?

2600 CAD does seem a little low for a complete build, which raises some flags. Be cautious when buying from Facebook Marketplace; there's often no guarantee for your purchase. As for your setup, the 7600 is decent for 1440p gaming. The slower RAM at 5200MHz will have a slight impact on performance (maybe around 10%), but it really varies based on the game and settings you're using. A slight decrease in FPS might happen, but it shouldn't be dramatic.

I understand your concerns about the marketplace! The seller seems legit, and I plan to stress-test the system before buying. Just curious, will that slower RAM affect CPU-intensive games more negatively?

The Ryzen 5 7600 is a pretty capable CPU! You shouldn't have to worry too much about bottlenecking, especially since it's an AM5 setup, which gives you upgrade options in the future if needed. It's designed to handle current games well, and as you mentioned, most games you'd be playing are more GPU-dependent. You can always consider upgrading later if you feel the need for more power.

Thanks for the reassurance! I like the idea of upgrading later if prices drop. It sounds like I should be fine with the 7600 for now.
