That air cooler could technically handle the i7 for gaming, but why risk it? A good aio cooler could save you from thermal throttling and give you peace of mind. Plus, that RTX 5080 seems overpriced, so maybe shop around for better deals. Also, if you don't really need the extra cores for productivity, I'd suggest looking at the AMD 9800X3D; it's a decent option that works great with air cooling and usually costs less.
